Why do we always argue?

Is it because you broke your promise 

It’s a fact that your first response would be “how did I break my promise?” 

I’ll say that you wasn’t there

You weren’t there when I needed you most

Why do we argue?

Why do we always argue?

Why…do…we…always…argue?

We argue because I can’t let go of the times you failed to be my backbone 

We argue because you can’t communicate like it’s your unknown…

Territory 

We always argue because you fail to respect me 

You always says that we should try and talk about my feelings 

But if i say what’s really annoyed me you would never find it appealing 

We argue because you fail to commit to the bare minimum 

And I’m the one putting in the effort

We argue because you fail to see me

“Me” for who I truly am

It’s “Me” you fail to always understand  

We argue because you never failed to give time to anyone who wasn’t me but you always seem to hate it when i want you to make time for me

We always argue because you can no longer be my person 

The person I could hold forever while the world seems to lay quiet as if you didn’t see me 20 minutes prior

The person I thought i could seek comfort in because you said we can talk about what’s on my mind for hours

The person I thought was in love with me because you bought me one bouquet of flowers 

We always argue because I can no longer be your person

The person who notices all the small things about you and let’s all the little voices in your head sing in harmony like a little choir 

The person who would make you feel like your floating so high and standing on the tallest tower

The person who was always there for you even if u didn’t want to talk

The person who was always there for you even if you just wanted to go on a little walk 

The person who you saw your entire life with 

The person who would just give and give and give…

Until I was drained 

You drained me

Time and time again but you never failed to notice because I was the giver and you would just take 

I should have known u put on a persona, fooled me and you were fake 

I don’t regrets us but we both made mistakes 

I should have known that yes everyone has there’s ups and downs but you would drag me with you 

That’s why I can no longer be with you

That’s why we always argue
